GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a legislation designed to give EU citizens more control over their personal data and forms the cornerstone of Europe’s digital privacy regulations. GDPR compliance mandates organizations to ensure personal data is obtained legally, under strict conditions, safeguarded against misuse, and that data owners' rights are upheld.
Supportal AI (“we” or “us” or “company”) has implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data processed by our platform. Our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and supplementary guidelines have been revised to illustrate our commitment to GDPR. We assure that all personal data processed through our platform or any affiliated channels is clearly communicated for accountability and transparency.
We are committed to rectifying any discrepancies in the personal data of our users upon request, provided it does not interfere with the company's intellectual property.
Supportal AI offers an export functionality in the admin panel, allowing users to export their data to CSV format. However, data resulting from analytics & insights are not included as they are not directly provided by the user. Supportal AI might opt not to retain or delete certain data over time, making it unavailable for porting.
Supportal AI believes in transparent communication. All data we collect or process is disclosed to our users, and we employ stringent measures to ensure its security and lawful use.
Entities under Supportal AI that may collect, display, or utilize user information include:
Data from these entities can be gathered via tracking pixels, UTM parameters, cookies, or directly from the user. Supportal AI collects this data to enhance its services and improve user experience.
Supportal AI retains the data of customers with both Paid subscriptions and those trying our free/trial version.
For those on the free/trial version, upon completion of the trial period, if they decide not to proceed with a paid subscription, we keep their data for up to 60 days. This gives them an opportunity should they choose to utilize our services again. For our paid subscribers, should the contract end (whether initiated by the user or Supportal AI), we also retain the data for a period of 60 days in case of a contract renewal. Nonetheless, if a customer formally requests data deletion following the end of their contract, we'll proceed with it immediately.
Exceptions may be made in certain circumstances such as legal, billing, or accounting matters.
Once an account is set to 'deactivated', Supportal AI starts the deletion process. 60 days post-deactivation, the account is labeled as 'Up For Deletion'. A further 15 days later, we irrevocably erase the data from our databases and other storage systems.
While the aforementioned deletion procedure is our standard approach, upon our customer's appeal, we can expedite their data removal in as short a time as a few hours.
